Apex Towing runs towing, recovery and roadside work out of Deerfield Beach, covering every city in Broward County and north into Boca Raton. Six services on one number, light duty through heavy. What we come out for

Six Services, One Number

Emergency towing listed on the Apex Towing services page Emergency Towing The call that comes in at two in the morning. Cars, pickups, SUVs and minivans that stopped somewhere they should not have. Loaded where they sit and delivered to your shop, your driveway or wherever you tell us. Call (561) 873-7004
Roadside assistance listed on the Apex Towing services page Roadside Assistance Not everything needs a tow. A jump, a lockout, a spare fitted or enough fuel to reach a pump puts you back on the road in minutes instead of on the back of a truck. Parts are quoted separately from the work. Call (561) 873-7004
Winch out and recovery listed on the Apex Towing services page Winch Outs & Recovery Sand, swale, soft shoulder, or a wheel dropped off the pavement. A winch line and the right angle usually beats a tow, and we will tell you on the phone which one it is going to be. Call (561) 873-7004

Private property and impound towing listed on the Apex Towing services page Private Property Towing For the people who own or manage the lot. Apartments, condos, HOAs, plazas and office parks. Fire lanes, reserved spaces, expired tags and abandoned vehicles, at rates the county caps rather than we do. Call (561) 873-7004

What It Costs

There is no single number, because a tow is priced on three things: the class of vehicle, how far it is going, and the hour of the day. You hear the figure on the phone before anyone is dispatched , so nothing gets settled at the roadside.

Where a job involves a part rather than only the work — fuel, a tire, a battery — that part is quoted separately and you are told both numbers on the same call. If the job turns out bigger than it sounded, it is re-quoted before work starts. Maximum rates for nonconsent tows off private property are set by the county rather than by us , and we work to them.

Which Truck Comes Out

Choosing a service is really a question about weight. Under ten thousand pounds gross is light duty , which covers nearly every car, pickup, SUV and minivan on the road. Ten to twenty-six thousand is medium duty — box trucks, work vans, Sprinters and step vans. Above twenty-six thousand is heavy duty : semi tractors, loaded trailers, dump trucks, buses and motorhomes.

That is why the questions on the phone matter. Weight decides the truck, height decides the route, whether it rolls and steers decides how it gets loaded, and whether it is in gear with a key decides how long the hook-up takes.

Questions

Picking The Right One

I do not know which service I need. Which one do I pick?

Pick none of them and call. Describe the vehicle, where it is and what it is doing, and we will work out which job it is. You are not expected to classify your own breakdown before you are allowed to ring.

How do you decide which truck to send?

Weight and height, mostly. Under ten thousand pounds gross is light duty and covers nearly every car, pickup and minivan. Ten to twenty-six thousand is medium duty, which is where box trucks, work vans and step vans sit. Above that is heavy duty. Whether the vehicle still rolls and steers decides how it gets loaded once we are there.

Do you come to parking garages and gated communities?

Yes, and both are common here. Give us the level and the space number in a garage, and the gate code or the guard house name in a community. Mention any height restriction on the way in, because that decides which truck can physically get to you.

Can you tow it to my own shop, or does it have to go to yours?

Wherever you want it. If you called us yourself, the destination is your choice: your mechanic, a dealership, your driveway or a body shop. The only time that changes is a nonconsent tow off private property, which the property owner authorizes rather than you.

Still Not Sure Which One?

Describe the vehicle and where it is sitting. That is enough for us to work out the job, price it and give you a time. Check where we cover if you are unsure about the area, or reach dispatch through contact.
